Locks on her hair

CHAPTER 1 : INTRIGUE

Do you ever feel that, there’s always a moment out there?

It all happened in split seconds when the three of them felt something, somehow tied to them, tightly. Something the three of them had never been feeling, for a long time.

They stared and locked their eyes onto each other, studying hard on each other’s thoughts and kept thinking.

It all dates back on the 9th of September. Susan, the brunette grabbing her Diana F+, adjusting the lens, trying to take a good picture. Over the meadows, stood two young girls. One tall, another blonde.

Ellie, over here!"

The tall one signaled the blonde girl, Ellie to a heap of lilacs. Wendy knew that Ellie adores lilacs and how her mother likes the scent of Ellie after her shower in a hot lilac-scented oil bath.

Everything seemed so perfect, for the moment.

Susan dropped her portfolio on the ground . She reminded herself, that’s like 15 years ago. We , grow up eventually, there’s always time for lilacs and unicorns but, judging from the place she was now at, she looked around, nothing but pavements of grey and the honks from the city. Busy people with many things running through their mind, people who don’t have time to settle down to calm themselves. Susan wasn’t one of those people, Ellie found her cell ringing, it’s Richard, her fiance. "Hello? Darling, yes it’s me, I am afraid I won’t be home that quick for tonight, have dinner early yourself. Love you, bye. "

Ellie then turned and tried to make the very first move after holding up her call on Richard.

How are things going on, ..?"

She tried to sound casual but Susan did nothing but staring at her decaf cappucino, non fat. Wendy shrugged at Ellie, it was all a coincidence that make them meet at this very coffee house. The three of them like their coffees non fat and, low sugar. Susan stirred her coffee and took in 2 more bags of brown sugar. Ellie caught hold of Susan’s pale hand, "Suze, i thought.. you never like sweet things."

That’s what I knew as well, 15 years ago."

But- you told me you can’t even stand the smell of cinnamon or any thing which is, sweet !" Ellie raised her voice with shaky hands, with her Blackberry still in hand, have a light shake.
